"I booked a journey for 24 people, and was phoned beforehand to ask if 3 x 8 seater minibuses would be adequate - which I was happy with. However only 1 minibus arrived at the time, and I was told this minibus would be doing 3 journeys back to back. As this was around 30-40 minute round trip, it meant that the final group of people were waiting over an hour until they could be taken, and it also meant that half of the group were over an hour late for an event. To make things worse, when I phoned the owner of the company, I was told he would try to find more vehicles to send and he would contact me back. However I had no response from him. Although the driver himself was nice, I would not recommend this company if you want to get anywhere on time. Also just to note that one of the seats in the back of the minibus was not correctly attached to the floor, so it came off the floor when going around every corner. It did not feel particularly safe!"

"Our booking was made for 10am collection on 15th March as we had grandstand tickets for Gold cup day at Cheltenham. I received a text message the night before telling me that the driver would be picking us up at 11am instead of 10am on the Saturday so I tried to call the driver to ensure the time on our booking was honoured, not what he had decided. When I finally got through to him on Saturday morning he said that his schedule was very busy and that he wouldn't get to me until 11.30am. This was 1.5 hours passed the original booking time and I explained that this wasn't acceptable as our party of 10 were already waiting to leave. The driver said there was nothing he could do so I called your company who then told me that unfortunately the minibus has broken down, which was not true as I had already spoken to the driver. Once he realised this he then said that the driver would not pick us up as I was rude to him, again this was not true. I was then told that there were no other alternatives and that we would have to find our own form of transport. We were now left stranded and every cab firm seemed to be booked up due to Cheltenham racing. Eventually we found a local taxi company that was able to take us at 12 30pm. This cost us £200 Return and we missed the first race. The whole party were completely stressed about this experience and it spoilt what was supposed to be a great day for us all. We booked with your company more than 6 months in advance and to find out by text message the night before that the minibus was going to be more than an hour late was bad enough, but to not even turn up at all is totally unacceptable. I fully expect to receive a full refund of monies paid to your company and to be reinbursed for the £200 that I had to lay out for the cab journeys which I have receipts for and can email to you if necessary. I would also appreciate a phone call back from your complaints department letting me know what you plan to do about this. You can contact me by email or call me on 07877251734. "AVOID The driver was exemplary and in no way to blame - the company and the leader/organiser were outrageously bad. The outward leg went well but during the day the company rang me to say could they put the pick up time back 20 minutes for a job booked months ago and paid in advance ! Reluctantly I agreed insisting it must be no later which I subsequently rechecked with them nearer the time - there was no show by 7.20 even after another call - the company then stopped answering the phone despite me ringing 10 times. The driver was contactable throughout but had been taken off our job to do another and was seething himself as the company were not answering him either - he got back for us 65 minutes late. This company are allegedly well known for messing customers around and ours was not even the drivers first problem this week ! A company to be avoided as they do not appear to care or even talk to them."

I told the driver this was not acceptable on the day as I had 18 people to get into Lichfield. He asked if he could do two trips but i refused as we were on a tight time restrictions with the restaurant. My pending spouse had to therefore take two of my party members in our car. This was a Hen party booking ....we all wanted to be on the same coach. Through your mis-management of the booking, you spoilt the start of our weekend and dampened the atmosphere. This was unacceptable as we were late for the conference on both days and missed the arrival breakfast. The taxi was dirty and cold due to draft coming through window that wouldn’t close, please see pictures attached. "My overall experience with TC was terrible..I booked 2x 8 seater mini buses to pick us up from Birmingham Airport....The pick up time was 9am...they never turned up...Eventually after a number of phone calls a 16 seater bus picked us up...but as we were 15 people with 15 suitease it was a very cramped journey..then on the way back on the Friday we wre supposed to be picked up at 3.15pm again 2 x 8 seaters but only 1 turned up and we had to book another one at an extra ciost through another company...all in all the service from our carrier was terrible...i will never uase this service again...."

"Myself and 12 other friends went to Leamington on a night out, and had booked a minibus to get us home for around 4:30 in the morning. At this time, after calling the driver at least 10 times, we got no response at all and had to spend over £200 on travel to get us home. The next morning, I received an update on my booking saying that he had reported me as being racist down the phone to him, and saying we had misunderstood what time we were getting collected. He did not pick up the phone once, and after me having to provide physical evidence to disprove his allegations, 2 weeks later we were refunded for the money, and the company have said the driver was completely at fault. As a company I feel that more should be done to compensate for the service my friends and I received. As you can imagine, I would not recommend this service to a friend, unless you would like a complete deformation of character, or a 40 minute wait in the freezing cold."

"Terrible service. Will not use again! Bus was already thirty minutes late because of driver allocation unable to be fulfilled, which is understandable and fair enough. However the bus proceeded to go to the destination instead of the pick up (although my booking confirmation clearly states the pick up and destinations addresses). Therefore we were a further 30 minutes late, driver didn't know where he was going so after we had drove past the destination he then turned around to get to the destination. To compensate he did wait for the event that we were attending to finish and was already in place ready to depart when we wanted to. However for saying this is a service we paid £250 for I will be looking for some significant compensation to amend this disappointment."

"Our taxi did not arrive, at Monday 18th 1230am from the NEC Birmingham as booked and pre paid for on the 8th of Dec. I telephoned the number on my confirmation email who gave me another number to call. I did this and was told that they have never dealt with taxicompare. I sent the lady ( who was very nice) a copy of my email but she couldn't open it. Eventually she agreed to send us a taxi. The driver arrived 45 mins late at 115am and said that one of the addresses had not been given to him and he would not move and we had to get out, we are 31-52 yrs of age women. He was quite aggressive in his tone and as we had prepaid only had a small amount of cash with us and were worried that we would be stranded and it was very cold and late. I agreed to pay any further charge of 7.50 on top of the 46.00 to make up the mistake. Never ever ever again would I use the company and I highly doubt they care one tiny bit. Very disappointing and it spoiled our Christmas night out. "

"I tried several times early on the evening of the booking to call, needing to make the pickup time a little later. The main office number was closed and I repeatedly got the answerphone of the person whose mobile phone number I was provided, 'Dean', and left several voice messages and a text asking for a call back. One time I managed to get through to speak to him, and when I asked if this would possible he said he needed to check the system and either cut me off or the call was cut off. I could not reach him again, nor did he call or message back, and he remained unreachable. This caused stress for the booking group as we did not know if we were able to delay the departure or not. Thankfully the driver eventually contacted me directly, and very kindly managed to hold off our pickup by an hour. The journey there and back and all dealings with the driver were fantastic, and I cannot recommend him enough. I was overall unimpressed with the company's inability to make or return contact on the day, I understand the booking change was a late request, but having someone answer the phone and give a straight answer yes or no, or even calling back after I was cut off, would have made this whole experience less anxious. "I booked a journey for 24 people, and was phoned beforehand to ask if 3 x 8 seater minibuses would be adequate - which I was happy with. However only 1 minibus arrived at the time, and I was told this minibus would be doing 3 journeys back to back. As this was around 30-40 minute round trip, it meant that the final group of people were waiting over an hour until they could be taken, and it also meant that half of the group were over an hour late for an event. To make things worse, when I phoned the owner of the company, I was told he would try to find more vehicles to send and he would contact me back. However I had no response from him. Although the driver himself was nice, I would not recommend this company if you want to get anywhere on time. Also just to note that one of the seats in the back of the minibus was not correctly attached to the floor, so it came off the floor when going around every corner. It did not feel particularly safe!"

"Our booking was made for 10am collection on 15th March as we had grandstand tickets for Gold cup day at Cheltenham. I received a text message the night before telling me that the driver would be picking us up at 11am instead of 10am on the Saturday so I tried to call the driver to ensure the time on our booking was honoured, not what he had decided. When I finally got through to him on Saturday morning he said that his schedule was very busy and that he wouldn't get to me until 11.30am. This was 1.5 hours passed the original booking time and I explained that this wasn't acceptable as our party of 10 were already waiting to leave. The driver said there was nothing he could do so I called your company who then told me that unfortunately the minibus has broken down, which was not true as I had already spoken to the driver. Once he realised this he then said that the driver would not pick us up as I was rude to him, again this was not true. I was then told that there were no other alternatives and that we would have to find our own form of transport. We were now left stranded and every cab firm seemed to be booked up due to Cheltenham racing. Eventually we found a local taxi company that was able to take us at 12 30pm. This cost us £200 Return and we missed the first race. The whole party were completely stressed about this experience and it spoilt what was supposed to be a great day for us all. We booked with your company more than 6 months in advance and to find out by text message the night before that the minibus was going to be more than an hour late was bad enough, but to not even turn up at all is totally unacceptable. I fully expect to receive a full refund of monies paid to your company and to be reinbursed for the £200 that I had to lay out for the cab journeys which I have receipts for and can email to you if necessary. "Myself and 12 other friends went to Leamington on a night out, and had booked a minibus to get us home for around 4:30 in the morning. At this time, after calling the driver at least 10 times, we got no response at all and had to spend over £200 on travel to get us home. The next morning, I received an update on my booking saying that he had reported me as being racist down the phone to him, and saying we had misunderstood what time we were getting collected. He did not pick up the phone once, and after me having to provide physical evidence to disprove his allegations, 2 weeks later we were refunded for the money, and the company have said the driver was completely at fault. As a company I feel that more should be done to compensate for the service my friends and I received. As you can imagine, I would not recommend this service to a friend, unless you would like a complete deformation of character, or a 40 minute wait in the freezing cold."

Therefore we were a further 30 minutes late, driver didn't know where he was going so after we had drove past the destination he then turned around to get to the destination. To compensate he did wait for the event that we were attending to finish and was already in place ready to depart when we wanted to. I telephoned the number on my confirmation email who gave me another number to call. I did this and was told that they have never dealt with taxicompare. I sent the lady ( who was very nice) a copy of my email but she couldn't open it. Eventually she agreed to send us a taxi. The driver arrived 45 mins late at 115am and said that one of the addresses had not been given to him and he would not move and we had to get out, we are 31-52 yrs of age women. He was quite aggressive in his tone and as we had prepaid only had a small amount of cash with us and were worried that we would be stranded and it was very cold and late. I agreed to pay any further charge of 7.50 on top of the 46.00 to make up the mistake. Never ever ever again would I use the company and I highly doubt they care one tiny bit. Very disappointing and it spoiled our Christmas night out. "

"I tried several times early on the evening of the booking to call, needing to make the pickup time a little later. The main office number was closed and I repeatedly got the answerphone of the person whose mobile phone number I was provided, 'Dean', and left several voice messages and a text asking for a call back. One time I managed to get through to speak to him, and when I asked if this would possible he said he needed to check the system and either cut me off or the call was cut off. I could not reach him again, nor did he call or message back, and he remained unreachable. This caused stress for the booking group as we did not know if we were able to delay the departure or not. Thankfully the driver eventually contacted me directly, and very kindly managed to hold off our pickup by an hour. The journey there and back and all dealings with the driver were fantastic, and I cannot recommend him enough. I was overall unimpressed with the company's inability to make or return contact on the day, I understand the booking change was a late request, but having someone answer the phone and give a straight answer yes or no, or even calling back after I was cut off, would have made this whole experience less anxious.
